Abstract

Šestikanálový tester bondovacích vodičů je určen pro zkoušky odolnosti vodičů různých materiálů mezi ploškami substrátu integrovaného obvodu a vývody pouzdra integrovaného obvodu. Tester zajišťuje průtok nastavitelné úrovně pulzního proudu bondovacím vodičem, přičemž je snímán tento proud i úbytek napětí na bondovacím vodiči a dále zpracováván. Tester umožňuje postupné měření na šesti kanálech, tj. až šesti bondovacích vodičů, které jsou obsaženy v pouzdře SOIC28 (poskytl ON Semiconductor BVBA, Oudenaarde), na které je aktuální verze testeru uzpůsobena. Řízení amplitudy, střídy a počtu opakování protékajícího proudu z externího zdroje, adresaci konkrétního vodiče, řízení interních zesilovačů a zpracování snímaných signálů provádí řídící počítač s měřící kartou.

Abstract in English

Six-channel tester of bondwire provides current stress tests of metallic bonding wires (different materials) between substrate surface and IC package pads. The tester ensures current flow of adjustable amplitude of pulse (square wave) shape through bondwire, sensing of this current together with sensing of voltage drop across bondwire and further processing. The tester allows sequential measurement in six channels, i.e. six bonding wires that are included in SOIC28 IC package (provided by ON Semiconductor BVBA, Oudenaarde). Powerful computer workstation with measuring card is responsible for amplitude, duty cycle, number of pulse repetitions of current flowing through bondwire, addressing of specific bondwire, gain control of internal amplifiers and processing of sensed signals.
