Original Abstract

The paper reviewed the results of the development of coatings designed to protect concrete surfaces based OPC from aggressive 5% solutions of ammonium salts. Applying to the surface of the protective concrete coatings based geocement allows to 1.82 fold increase in its resistance when compared with an unprotected concrete. Geocement coating for resistance to corrosive liquids they can be evaluated in the following order: (NH4)2HPO4 > NH4Cl > NH4NO3 > (NH4)2SO4. Resistance on the basis of artificial geocement stone provided details of the formation of its structure, which is characterized by low porosity, high density and the presence of zeolite-type phases heulandite and mordenite. A 5% solution of ammonium chloride and the prototype formulated to offer the same protection of concrete, and its resistance to solutions of nitrate, sulfate, ammonium phosphate salt geocement coating exceeds analogue resistance. The developed coating was tried in real industrial conditions.
