Original Abstract

The goal of the project is to measure heat transfer characteristics of nozzles in secondary cooling zone of continuous casting machine in ArcelorMittal. Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory have developed methodology of heat transfer measurement. Results contain information about temperature dependent heat flux and heat transfer coefficient of the nozzles.
