Metodika a zařízení pro posouzení rozptýlení vláknité výztuže v cementových kompozitech posuzuje míru výskytu shluků a tím i stanovení rovnoměrnosti rozmísení (rozptýlení) vláken v kompozitu, to je důležité pro hodnocení kvality kompozitního materiálu. Možnosti posouzení vzniku shluků a posouzení rovnoměrnosti výskytu vláken v cementové matrici kompozitu jsou omezené. Je posuzována přítomnost vláken na lomu a posouzení distribuce v rámci zkoumaného vzorku – homogenity rozmísení. Pro získání reprezentativního souboru zlomových vzorků je navrženo zařízení, kdy je vzorek rozlámán definovaným způsobem na zlomky ekvivalentní velikosti. Využití zubového lisovacího nástavce – jedná se o dvě čelisti se zubovým zámkem, které při stlačení vyvozují mechanické namáhání tenké vrstvy materiálu v místech definovaných roztečí zubů. Tlakovým působením dojde k rozlámání materiálu na podélné zlomky jednotné šířky. Ty mohou být následně umístěny do lisovacího nástavce příčně (tedy o 90 stupňu vůči výchozí poloze v předešlém kroku) a dalším stlačením jsou vytvořeny zlomky přibližně čtvercového tvaru s přibližně stejnou velikostí.
