Original Abstract
The goal of this project is to describe the secondary cooling system of DC caster in AMAG. The first stage is concentrated on monitoring of present situation. Realistic cooling conditions will be simulated in laboratory. Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory have developed methodology of heat transfer measurement based on unsteady temperature measurement and data evaluation using the inverse task. Results contain information about surface temperature dependent heat flux (q) and heat transfer coefficient (HTC). Data format is suitable for using in numerical simulations.
