Original Abstract

Special symmetric connections have been studied, particularly locally homogeneous connections of type A and B on open domains of 2-manifolds. While the only locally metrizable symmetric affine connections with constant Christoffels on 2-manifolds are just all locally flat connections, for connections of type B the situation is quite different, there exit non-flat metrizable connections of type B.

English abstract
