According to the Water Frame Work Directive must be achieve satisfactory chemical status for surface water to the 2015 in every member state. Pollution of surface waters by harmful substances closely associated with discharging of untreated effluents. Significant contributors are untreated stormwaters, which get to the surface waters thru sewer system during rainfall event.
