Brief description of the project
The project focuses on the creation, pilot testing, and subsequentimplementation of an institutional scheme of return grants at the Brno University of Technology. The aim is to facilitate the return of researchers and doctoral students after a career break caused by parental leave, long-termillness, or caring for a loved one.
The project will create a system to support the return of R&D workers. Three rounds of internal grant competitions will be announced, in which at least 22 return grants will be awarded.

The project will contribute to strengthening human resources in research, increasing the retention of qualified staff and improving equality of opportunity in the scientific community. The project outputs will be used for the long-term integration of the return scheme into the systemic support of research activities at BUT.

Project Description
The project focuses on the development of infrastructure and material facilities of Brno University of Technology. Through the purchase of modern equipment and the implementation of reconstruction activities, it significantly contributes to improving the quality of teaching across various study programmes. This approach supports not only the improvement of students' professional level, but also their practical skills and readiness for the labour market, which ultimately increases the competitiveness of graduates both nationally and internationally. Increasing the protection of target groups from terrorist or other violent attacks is an integral part of the project.
Project Objectives
The aim is to fundamentally modernize the material and technical security of laboratories and classrooms used in teaching bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programmes. The project will include the purchase of classroom equipment, modernisation of instruments and equipment units.
The aim is to create a modern, functional and technically advanced space for teaching and research at Brno University of Technology. The project focuses on comprehensive building modifications of laboratories, workshops, classrooms and lecture halls in order to provide an environment that meets the current requirements for quality education and research activities.

The project is aimed at supporting students with specific needs and also gifted and talented students at Brno University of Technology. The aim of the project is to create an inclusive academic environment that ensures equal opportunities for all students regardless of their health condition, specific needs or level of talent. The project focuses on removing barriers that may hinder the full participation of these students in the learning process and on enhancing their academic and personal development.

The aim of the project is to develop the material and infrastructural background of doctoral study programmes at Brno University of Technology in accordance with the current state of global scientific knowledge. It is specifically about instrument retrofitting and reconstruction works.The expansion of facilities for doctoral students will have a significant impact on the quality of studies at Brno University of Technology. The number of study programmes whose students will be able to use the most modern equipment in their studies will increase, the degree of cooperation between individual study programmes and levels of study will increase, when doctoral, master's students together with bachelor's degree students will meet in the upgraded facilities.
