Předmětem projektu je zpracování koncepčních návrhů implementace dílčích prvků energeticky soběstačných (ostrovních) systémů a implementace nových řídích systémů (propojení řízení čištění se správou energií) pro vybrané komunální čistírny odpadních vod o projektované kapacitě 10 - 25 tis. ekvival. obyv. Budou tedy definovány technologie a postupy směřující k energeticky neutrální komunální čistírně odpadních vod a to ve vztahu k požadavkům nové Směrnice EU o čištění městských odpadních vod.

The subject of the project is the development of conceptual designs for the implementation of partial elements of energy-self-sufficient (island) systems and the implementation of new control systems (interconnection of treatment control with energy management) for selected municipal wastewater treatment plants with a projected capacity of 10 - 25 thousand population equivalents. Thus, technologies and procedures aimed at an energy-neutral municipal wastewater treatment plant will be defined in relation to the requirements of the new EU Directive on urban wastewater treatment.
