On the project

This project focuses on developing a sustainable nanofiber separator suitable for wearable flexible batteries. The current energy storage systems compromise on safety, biocompatibility, and environmental sustainability, which are critical factors for skin-contact applications. This project addresses this critical gap by developing sustainable, reusable, flexible battery separators based on Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) nanofibers integrated with MXenes (2D titanium carbides) of tunable surface terminations.
