On the project

Quantitative Phase Imaging enables label-free imaging of transparent biological samples, while its incoherent implementation (hiQPI) improves robustness in scattering environments. Recent extensions to three-dimensional imaging via iterative hiODT reconstruction from axial z-stacks remain computationally demanding and highly sensitive to initialization. This project introduces a physics-based deconvolution model derived from the hiQPI imaging system as an improved initialization for hiODT. The approach will be evaluated.
