On the project

Glioblastoma is among the deadliest brain cancers, requiring new therapeutic strategies. This project develops a bioelectronic platform that continuously generates pharmacological doses of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) using PEDOT electrodes, exploiting cancer-specific redox imbalance. By studying cell death mechanisms in 2D and 3D glioblastoma models, we aim to establish selective, controllable ROS therapy with strong potential for clinical translation.
