On the project

Plasmon-enhanced photoluminescence spectroscopy provides key diagnostic insight into quantum and nanoscale devices but is fundamentally limited by the inability to separate excitation and emission enhancement. This project introduces composite Au/VO2 plasmonic spectral switches that dynamically shift plasmon resonances via the VO2 phase transition. By enabling selective excitation or emission enhancement within a single device, the approach enhances the diagnostic capability of photoluminescence spectroscopy.
