On the project

This project aims to develop a correlative three-dimensional analytical methodology integrating X-ray computed tomography (CT) and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). By combining CT-based structural imaging with LIBS chemical analysis, the approach enables chemically informed characterization of complex, irregular samples without destructive preparation. The methodology targets applications in materials science, geology, and cultural heritage, where non-destructive 3D structural and chemical information is essential.
