On the project

Molecular chirality shapes our world. Yet the mechanisms by which chirality emerges and amplifies in self-assembled molecular systems remain poorly understood. This project aims to connect fundamental surface science with potential pharmaceutical applications and uncover general principles of surface-induced homochirality, which can lead to the development of enantioselective surfaces for efficient chiral separation in drug production.
