On the project

This project aims to develop a graphene FET-based photodetectors enhanced by patterned 2D Mo₂C nanostructures. Graphene offers high carrier mobility but limited absorption; integrating plasmonic Mo₂C enables strong light-matter interaction and efficient hot-carrier injection. Optimized pattern improves photoresponsivity, selectivity, and response time in the visible region, introducing metallic MXene patterning as a pathway to sensitive and tunable optoelectronics devices.
