On the project

The aim of this project is to develop optimized multicomponent mesocrystals using microwave synthesis to serve as photocatalyst for microplastics degradation. By designing a hierarchical superstructure with well-ordered crystallographic alignment, tunable electronic properties, high crystallinity, and controlled interfaces, this work seeks to facilitate better charge transfer kinetics and photocatalytic performance, offering a promising candidate for sustainable environmental remediation.
