Projekt FACIS2 navazuje na výstupy projektu FACIS VJ02010041, zejména hlavní výstup V6 platformu FACIS pro automatizovanou analýzu multimediálních dat ve forenzním vyšetřování a rozšiřuje její funkcionalitu s využitím pokročilých metod umělé inteligence. Cílem je převést systém do provozně připravené podoby, rozšířit jej o inovativní metody dle potřeb bezpečnostních složek a zajistit jeho udržitelnost. Projekt integruje výzkum a vývoj v oblastech extrakce dat, biometrické identifikace, detekce závadového obsahu, dolování informací z textu i obrazu a systémové integrace. Výsledkem bude robustní systém podporující efektivní vyšetřování závažné trestné činnosti podporující vyšetřovatele z orgánů činných v trestním řízení a rozšiřuje/inovuje danou funkcionalitu na základě jejich zpětné vazby.

The FACIS2 project builds on the outcomes of the FACIS project VJ02010041, particularly the main deliverable V6 - the FACIS platform for automated analysis of multimedia data in forensic investigations - and extends its functionality through the application of advanced artificial intelligence methods. The aim is to transform the system into an operationally ready solution, expand it according to the needs of security forces, and ensure its long-term sustainability. The project integrates research and development in the areas of data extraction, biometric identification, harmful content detection, text and image mining, and system integration. The result will be a system supporting the effective investigation of serious criminal activity, assisting law enforcement officers.
