Project detail

Investigation of thionated organic semiconductor pigments

Duration: 1.1.2026 — 30.9.2026

Funding resources

Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy ČR - AKTION Česká republika - Rakousko

On the project

The proposed project aims to further investigate an underexplored approach of modifying organic semiconductors’ properties. The project also strengthens the standing collaboration between the Laboratory of Organic Electronics and photonics at FCH BUT and the Linz Institute for Solar Cells (LIOS). The long-standing experience in synthesis and characterization of organic semiconducting molecules of the team at BUT is complemented by well-equipped laboratories at LIOS, with an extensive range of vacuum deposition techniques and deep experience in thin film deposition and analysis. The AKTION project will enable students to gain experience at a foreign university and facilitate knowledge transfer between experts from collaborating institutions.
