The project connects universities and industry partners to develop innovative educational tools and foster knowledge exchange, ensuring future professionals are equipped to apply environmentally responsible approaches in AM. Edu-GArD3n emphasizes practical learning through student internships, online mentoring, and interdisciplinary workshops where students gain hands-on experience in sustainable AM processes. These experiences promote both technical and soft skills, while strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. Core outcomes of Edu-GArD3n are the development of an AI-powered digital twin learning platform, an open-access educational book, international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary student internships, and workshops to define strategies for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing Green AM education and research and policy recommendations for a more sustainable AM ecosystem.
