Předložený projekt představuje zásadní posun v oblasti VaV aplikací biocharu pro čištění dešťových vod. Jedním z klíčových inovativních prvků je integrace parní aktivace biocharu přímo do procesu pyrolýzy, čímž dojde k vývoji inovativního materiálu, aktivovanému biocharu z recyklovaného dřevního odpadu. Dalším z klíčových inovativních prvků je vývoj nové filtrační sestavy, kde bude využit recyklovaný filtrační materiál (aktivovaný biochar) k odstraňování znečištění z odtoku zelených střech. Projekt je v souladu s principy cirkulární ekonomiky, principy Národní RIS3 strategie a spadá do oblastí podporovaných Výzvou.

Description in English
The presented project represents a fundamental shift in the field of R&D applications of biochar for rainwater purification. One of the key innovative elements is the integration of steam activation of biochar directly into the pyrolysis process, which will lead to the development of an innovative material, activated biochar from recycled wood waste. Another key innovative element is the development of a new filter assembly, where recycled filter material (activated biochar) will be used to remove pollution from green roof runoff. The project is in line with the principles of the circular economy, the principles of the National RIS3 Strategy and falls within the areas supported by the current donation call.
