On the project

This study aims to develop a non-enzymatic sensor to replace complex and costly methods while addressing current limitations of electrochemical sensing of histamine. A cost-effective rGO-CuO nanocomposite as an electrocatalyst will be synthesized for its large surface area, high conductivity, high electron transfer, and strong histamine affinity. Integrated with screen-printed carbon electrodes, the electrochemical sensor offers an affordable, simple, portable, rapid, sensitive, and selective system for histamine analysis in fish sauce.
