České kompetenční centrum pro polovodiče, dále jen CSC, bude plně reflektovat požadavky uvedené v národní i mezinárodní výzvě pro kompetenční centra „Chips-2024-CCC-1“, vyhlášené Společným podnikem pro čipy. Pro úspěšné naplnění těchto požadavků je projektové konsorcium složeno ze šesti klíčových partnerů s komplementárními kompetencemi v celém českém polovodičovém ekosystému. Specializace CSC odráží primárně silné stránky polovodičového hodnotového řetězce v ČR. Jsou jimi front end výroba čipů (výroba mikročipů, obvodů a transistorů na polovodičových deskách) pro výkonovou elektroniku, pro automobilový a letecký průmysl, nástroje pro návrh procesorů včetně licencí na architekturu, a nástroje pro metrologii.

Description in English
The specialization of the Czech Semiconductor Competence Centre, from now on referred to as CSC, reflects the strengths of the semiconductor value chain in the Czech Republic, which are also mentioned in the National Semiconductor Strategy of the Czech Republic. These are: 1) front-end chip manufacturing (production of microchips, circuits and transistors on semiconductor wafers) for power electronics, automotive and aerospace; 2) tools for processor design including architecture licensing; and 3) tools for metrology. The CSC consortium comprises six members, with a balance between businesses and education institutions representing the semiconductors sector in the Czech Republic.
