Description in English
The aim of the project is to research and develop a smart water shut-off device for households to detect water leaks and water quality based on machine learning. The project aims to develop new machine learning algorithms that, by collecting large amounts of data on the water consumption of individual home appliances, create software that can identify water leakage and, in parallel, water quality. The software will be implemented in a newly developed cap fitted with appropriate sensors. In addition to the cap itself and its software, server and client applications will also be developed to communicate with the cap, collect and present data to the system users. The main objective of the project is to contribute to the reduction of water consumption and to the protection of consumers.
