On the project

Current semiconductor technology is facing its physical limits; therefore, several novel concepts were introduced, e.g., vertical-field-effect transistors (VFET) consisting of graphene-organic semiconductor (OS) structures, which have potential for applications in optoelectronic devices. The graphene-OS interface has a key role in the device’s overall efficiency. This project aims to study OSs’ morphology and phase transformations (HAT-CN6, TP-HM) on Ag and Au substrates as a background for realizing OS/graphene/Ir systems.
