On the project

Micro-endoscopes based on optical fibres are becoming a promising tool to allow in-vivo observations of otherwise inaccessible biological structures in animal models. In this project, we plan to utilize unique optical fibre processing methods to develop a novel and technologically feasible fibre probes fabrication. As a result, a novel fibre probe for in vivo holographic endoscopy will be more durable, non-invasive and compact.
