In this project new coordination compounds of Cu(II) will be prepared for EPR investigations of exchange interactions. This research will bring insight into magnetic properties that can be influenced by geometry. W-band frequency range will be used to investigate the exchange interactions and from obtained date a magneto-structural investigation will be constructed. With enough data it will be possible to predict structure of well performing Single Molecule Magnets for future spintronics or quantum devices.
