On the project

The CMOS technology is nearing its fundamental limits as the dimensions of the devices reach the atomic scale. The spin waves are a prospective beyond-CMOS concept, which promises significant reduction of power consumption and change of paradigm to wave-based computing. They have been extensively studied at microscale, but at the nanoscale, only a few pioneering works have been done. The proposed project will create a feasible connection between the CMOS technology and spin waves using magnetic domain walls.
