Zvyšující se míra užívání senzorů, včetně senzorů s vestavěnými počítačovými systémy poskytujícími "inteligenci" a komunikačními subsystémy poskytujícími "spojení", vyvolává obavu z kybernetických útoků. Toto obava vzrůstá s tím, jak se na systémech využívajících senzory stávají závislými nejrůznější aplikace, například průmyslové, energetické, dopravní, ale i bezpečnostní systémy. Cílem projektu je zkoumat a poskytnout zajištění přenosu, autenticity a okamžiku pořízení dat ze senzorů, případně i vazbu na konkrétní hardware, tak, aby byla zajištěna důvěryhodnost takových dat.

An increasing scale of exploitation of sensors, including sensors with embedded computer systems providing "intelligence" and communication subsystems providing "connection" generates a fear from cyberattacks. This fear increases with increased dependence of applications, such as industrial, energy distribution, traffic, and also security systems. The goal of the project is to research and provide solutions for reliable transfer, ensuring of authenticity and time of acquisition and possibly also connection to a specific piece of hardware so that it ensures trustworthy data.
