The aim of the project is to prepared polyolefins samples with humic acids (HA) and fulvic acids (FA) and verify their potential application as antioxidants and prodegradants. The first part of the project consists of the extraction of FA and HA from the compost, their purification and characterization by FTIR, TGA and XRD. The second part is focused on their effect, as a pure and modified substances, on the stability of PP and PE. Their efficacy will be studied through accelerated aging by LTHA, CI, SEM, DSC.
