On the project

Záměr projektu spočívá ve vytvoření Centra kompetence pro zpracování vizuálních informací (V3C - Visual Computing Competence Center) jako uskupení dvou významných výzkumných organizací a čtyř průmyslových partnerů. Motivací je dlouhodobě nedostatečná provázanost výzkumných pracovišť a průmyslových podniků v ČR. Cílem projektu je vytvořit dlouhodobý rámec pro intenzivnější uplatňování výsledků aplikovaného výzkumu daného oboru v oblasti českého průmyslu a tento rámec naplnit vlastním výzkumem.

Description in English
The Visual Computing Competence Center (V3C) is proposed as a strategic connection of collaborating research institutions with key competences in the field of visual computing in the Czech Republic accompanied by competent industrial partners active in the field. The project partners joined forces to create a powerful, and efficient formation with a potential impact on state of the art in research and applications of visual computing within the Czech Republic and beyond.
