Department of Internationalisation

Office hours

  • Monday: 10–12 a.m., 2–4 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8:30–12 a.m.

Competence

The Department of Internationalisation ensures in particular:

  • the methodological management of and support for internationalisation
  • the organisation and management of international mobilities, including the provision of methodological and information support to the faculties and units,
  • in the area of international cooperation, the use of:
    • international higher education programmes, in particular the programmes of the European Union,
    • international governmental and non-governmental organisations,
  • the management of the agenda of agreements and contracts within the international relations of BUT, the monitoring and review of their fulfilment, and the provision of an updated overview thereof,
  • cooperation with the faculties of BUT, the University Institutes of BUT and other units of BUT on the internationalisation of study and, further, in creating the organisational conditions for sending out students and employees of BUT and for receiving students and employees from other foreign higher education institutions and institutions,
  • the management of and methodological support for the ERASMUS+ programme at BUT and its coordination in relation to the National Agency for European Educational Programmes,
  • the management of international relations in the area of university cooperation with partners abroad within bilateral agreements and university networks,
  • in the area of international cooperation, the use of:
    • international higher education programmes, in particular the programmes of the European Union,
    • international governmental and non-governmental organisations,
  • the coordination of cooperation with foreign universities and institutions, the identification of and connection of BUT to foreign partners,
  • the management of the agenda of agreements and contracts within the international relations of BUT, the monitoring and review of their fulfilment, and the provision of an updated overview thereof,
  • the preparation and organisational arrangements for university events and visits abroad at the level of the Rector, in cooperation with the Rector's Secretariat,
  • cooperation with the faculties of BUT, the University Institutes of BUT and other units of BUT on the internationalisation of study and, further, in creating the organisational conditions for sending out students and employees of BUT and for receiving students and employees from other foreign higher education institutions and institutions.
