The Chancellor ensures the implementation of the Rector’s programme and performs related coordination activities to achieve the defined objectives. They coordinate the agenda of the University’s self-governing bodies and act as Secretary to the BUT Board of Trustees.

They manage the agenda of the advisory bodies of BUT, coordinate the Rector’s media relations, and oversee the preparation of strategic documents and annual reports. The Chancellor ensures information support for the decision-making of the University leadership and the provision of information services, and coordinates the activities of the Centre of Information Services.
