The new programme Visual Communication in Creative Industries is starting! Applications now open

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at BUT in Brno presents a brand-new bachelor's program: Visual Communication in Creative Industries (only in Czech language). Applications can be submitted from March 13 to April 11, 2025.

What is this new program, whose motto is THE POWER OF CREATIVITY?
The Visual Communication in Creative Industries program combines knowledge from mechanical engineering and art with expertise in graphic design, digital technologies, virtual reality, and marketing strategies. The program, with a unique study plan (only in Czech language), aims to educate digital experts capable of creating complex digital models using polygonal and planar modeling and producing photorealistic visualizations at an advanced level, including other processes such as simulation, animation, and digital video.


Graduates will be well-positioned for roles as digital specialists in product and service development. They can work independently or as part of a creative team in a design, advertising, or architectural studio.

This is a four-year professional bachelor's program. Admission requirements include submitting a personal portfolio of work, successfully passing an interview, and, of course, successfully completing (or being exempted from) the general entrance exam at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
