The Faculty of Chemistry commemorated 110 years of teaching chemistry at BUT

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, the SONO Centre witnessed the celebration of 110 years of teaching chemistry at the Brno University of Technology. The celebrations of the Faculty of Chemistry at BUT started with a probe into the history of chemical education in Brno and also the awarding of medals to FCH staff. The representatives of the faculty christened the new publication The Story of Brno Technical Chemistry, from which there was also a small demonstration in the form of an author's reading. The whole evening was in the spirit of the 20s full of swing and jazz. The BUT choir Vox Iuvenalis also performed as a surprise at the gala evening.
