He explained why it is important to continue developing your knowledge and skills even after completing university studies, and how to maintain the quality of teaching in a time of new technologies and changing societal demands. He also outlined what changes in education await us and how the university is preparing for them. And he revealed why team trust is key for him, what the graduate of the future should look like, whether, as a proud Brno native, he would rather cheer for Zbrojovka or Kometa, and who from BUT he last crushed in a chess match. “In my speeches at graduation ceremonies, I indirectly incorporate this by encouraging our graduates not to see it as the final step in their education. We all probably sense that today’s world is incredibly dynamic, and I believe it’s necessary to keep developing,” Vice-Rector Máša mentioned.
