Diploma in hand and a future ahead. BUT has new bachelors and engineers

The beginning of summer at Brno University of Technology was marked by joy, emotion, and celebration. New graduates of BUT, who successfully passed their final exams, concluded their studies with ceremonial graduations and embarked on a journey toward new life and professional experiences.

Nearly four thousand students successfully completed their studies at BUT. In the presence of family, friends, and representatives of the academic community, the graduates took the graduation oath and received their bachelor’s and master’s diplomas, symbolically closing this chapter of their academic careers. This extraordinary moment was not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a reminder of the values they take with them from their alma mater.

Students with outstanding academic results or excellent final theses were also awarded the Rector’s Prize or the Dean’s Prize from their respective faculties. These special awards are given each year during the graduation ceremonies to a select few graduates for exceptional academic effort and performance.

Studies End, Connection Remains

To ensure the connection with the university does not end with graduation, BUT offers its alumni the opportunity to join the BUT Alumni Network community through the new BUT Alumni portal. This online space connects graduates across faculties and provides them with opportunities for professional and personal development. It also offers access to exclusive benefits, further education, and participation in research and innovation projects. In the first four months since its launch, nearly 1,500 members have already registered for the BUT Alumni Network, staying connected with their alma mater and with each other, forming a unique community with an ongoing interest in BUT.
