Are you studying at Brno University of Technology and at the same time excelling in a sport? Apply for the Sportsman of the Year 2025 award!The Sportsman of the Year at BUT awards the best talents from the university. | Author: Czech Academic Games Students at BUT have a wide range of sports opportunities and regularly prove that they are truly excellent athletes! That is why Brno University of Technology annually awards the best student sportsmen who represent the university at national and international competitions. If you belong among the elite in your sport, don’t miss the chance to apply for Sportsman of the Year 2025 at BUT. You can participate with achievements in both academic and federation competitions. The ten best students will be rewarded with special scholarships, which will be presented at the official ceremony at the BUT Rectorate at the beginning of next year. Registration for the competition is open from September 1 to October 31 here. From the registered student athletes, the three with the best academic results will also be nominated for the Academic Athletes of the City of Brno awards.
