Issued topics of Doctoral Study Program

  1. Increasing the positioning accuracy of industrial robots in machining operations

The industrial robot is able to move with a proper manipulability in a large workspace. On the other hand, it lacks of position accuracy contrary to conventional milling machines. There are many ways how to influence the accuracy of the industrial robot. It could be improved in different ways: from modifications in design to enhancements realized within the robot controller. The aim of the dissertation will be the design of a system for reducing unwanted errors and disturbances in tasks where the continuous tracking of the whole path is required. Typical tasks can be milling, grinding, deburring or cutting processes.

Tutor: Singule Vladislav, doc. Ing., CSc.

  2. Research and development drives for ecological means of transport.

Ecological means of transport used mainly drives, based on the use of electricity in this area is intense research and development of individual components of these drives. Dissertation will focus on the development of design methodologies and ordering a new drives concept for these vehicles according to pre-defined requirements with regard to predicting their condition and behavior. The scope and objective of the work will be based on the methodology developed by the creation of a new technical object for the specified motor road / rail vehicle is driven. The concept of this object will be focused on using the latest components and achieve synergies. It is also assumed verify proper functionality and operability produced a physical model (test pattern) and assessment of the achieved synergy.

Tutor: Singule Vladislav, doc. Ing., CSc.

  3. Vibration Diagnostics of Production Machines.

Analysis of Possibilities of Use of Modern Vibration and Other Diagnostic Methods for Creating a Maintenance Management System.

Tutor: Jankových Róbert, doc. Ing., CSc.
