Profile

The aim is to educate experts in designing, implementing and using elements and systems of automation with the use of state-of-the-art computing technology. Major focus is on issues of industrial production as well as on automation in non-industrial areas.
Emphasis is placed on comprehensive approaches to automation. Graduates will find good job opportunities in companies designing control and regulation systems as well as in organisations desiring to automate its activities as experts in installing and operating means of automation. They may, for example, work as designers and operation engineers of automation systems, system engineers, specialised programmers, operators, or automation consultants.
