Design of railway stops, goods points and operation control points, especially railway stations

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The student will receive credit for the project of the upper head of the directional group of the marshalling yard, including the dynamic assessment of one of the tracks to the extent determined by the teacher.

Final exam in the form of a test covering the entire course.

Aims

The objective of the subject is to introduce students to the problems of railway junctions, passenger and goods traffic in them and to practise acquires knowledge and skills.

The student will be familiar with the subgroups of railway stations for both passenger and freight transport and will be able to design them.
