Bioceramics materials and biocomposites

Ph.D. Kurz je zaměřen na biomateriály pro náhrady, opravy a koexistenci s tvrdými tkáněmi. Kurz nejprve seznamuje studenty se strukturou, vlastnostmi a fyziologií kostní tkáně a biokompatibilitou biomateriálů, zejména s kostní tkání. V další části kurzu jsou uvedeny typy a vlastnosti objemových a vrstevnatých biokeramik pro ortopedické a zubní aplikace. Dále se kurz zabývá testováním mechanických vlastností, tribologických vlastností a biokompatibilitou biomateriálů. Závěr kurzu je věnován přípravě a zpracování biomateriálů a jejich aplikacím.

The course is completed by the oral doctoral examination. Knowledge of structures, properties and preparation of biceramic materials and bioceramic composites is verified to the extent corresponding to the subject syllabus.
