The aim of the module is to understand accounting as a tool for management decision support. Students get an introduction to financial and managerial accounting, basic accounting theory, process of preparation of accounting information and its use for managerial decision-making. It deals with cost accounting concepts. Analyzes and magnitude of costs are studied in connection with managerial decision-making. Students will try out managerial accounting procedures and will improve the solution of technical requirements. They will work more efficiently. Emphasis is placed on topics including cost methods, profit analysis, budget, share capital and cost-dependent activities and management.
