Aims
The aim is to prepare the young generation to work on preservation of significant complexes and objects from the Industrialization era and to find new uses and thus reintroduce them into the structure of our historic settlements. The practical classes are based on the practical needs when architects must know not only how to design a new building on a green field, but also to know how to creatively integrate contemporary forms into the heritage of the past, to find new uses for the decaying buildings in industrial zones which are frequently close to the historic centres (brownfields).
