Softball

The lesson takes place on an outdoor playground with artificial grass, if the climatic conditions are good. Classes in the winter semester usually end at the end of November / beginning of December, depending on climatic conditions. In the summer semester, teaching begins from the beginning of March.
Softball lessons and seasonal tournaments offer year-round sports activities in the winter and summer semesters. In this sport, you have the chance to join a great team that will not break up right after the end of the training on the field.
In the winter semester, it is possible (and highly recommended) to participate with the BUT team in a traditional tournament which we organize for amateur players - beginners and advanced.

Prerequisites

Suitable shoes for the field (artificial grass) are sneakers, turf, or football boots. The use of metal and screwed football boots and spikes is prohibited. We recommend wearing warm clothes (spring, autumn).
There are enough gloves, bats, helmets and other equipment available. One-time semester fee of CZK 50 (for material maintenance).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Lessons under the guidance of the teacher in the form of training individual game skills, team coordination. Students only register for R / K classes. Competitive players directly address the guarantor, who registers them himself within the hour P, V.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credits - active participation in the tutorials. Two unexcused absences are allowed.

Course curriculum

1.lesson - introductory information, conditions for granting credit, acquaintance of students with the preparation of the course; acquaintance with the rules;
2.– 13. lesson
Both groups are taught simultaneously. At the beginning of the semester separately, during the semester the groups gradually merge.
