Students will learn to apply research methods in the practice and to use its in the dissertation thesis.

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.

Students will be evaluated in three parts:
1. Evaluation of research projects - first condition for obtaining of unit course credit.
2.Passing of test - condition for completing the course.

1. Science and research, their importance in managment. Research methodology in management.
2. Basics of research work in management. Research theme, idea, research problem and its formulation. Stating of hypothesis.
3. Phases of research activities. Research plan. Problematics of research sample.
4. Research methods and technics in management, their sorting. The study of documents as research methods. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
5. Method of observation in management. Sorts, characteristics and usage.
6. Method of questionnairing in management, their characteristics and usage.
7. Method of experimnting in management. Sorts of experiment, realization.
8. Methods os measuring (scaling, tests) in management.
9. Qualitative oriented research.
10. Processing of research report.
11. Research results presentation.
12. Etics in research work.

The main objective of the course is to teach students to aply research methods in the practice. The second objective is to use provided research in the dissertation thesis.

Students prepare demended seminar works. Knowledge will be evaluated in final test.
