Modelling of Thermal Phenomenon in Building Structures

Modelling of hygrothermal processes in the building envelope and in indoor climate. Modelling of one or two-dimensional calculation of heat flow, heat and moisture transfer, air flow and air permeability in building materials and constructions. Determination of boundary climate conditions for the evaluation of non steady state conditions of constructions and indoor climate of buildings. Reference climatic hourly data in the format of TRY (Test Reference Year). Simulation methods of building constructions and environment. Multi zone modelling and integrated evaluation of buildings. Analysis and methods for creation of building models and the selection of reliable simulation tools and computer software for modelling of behaviour of building envelope and indoor environment for determined internal and external boundary conditions considering dynamics of climate.

Aims

The aim of the subject is designing of building structures to avoid risk of thermal and technical defects and deficiencies and also to fulfil requirements of the ordinance no. 137/1998 St and of the standard ČSN 73 0540-2:2002. Compliance with these requirements gives possibilities to provide low energy consumtion of the building as well as required indoor climate.
