Basic approaches for the creating of calculation models of real structures.
Program system IDA SCIA: assemblage of input dates, calculation, evaluation of results, proportioning.
Solving of individual assignment.

1. Acquaint with computing systems for static analysis of construction.
2. SCIA computing system – possibilities of application, examples of computing models of realized structures.
3. Elementary input data.
4. Structure geometry – planar model.
5. Structure geometry – spatial model.
6. Model – type of the supports, truss members, nodes.
7. Loading
8. Loading actions and their combinations.
9. Information about stability.
10. Computation.
11. Evaluation of results.
12. Truss members dimensioning and joints dimensioning.
13. Non-linearity of computation.

The objective of the subject is to introduce students to the problems of this course and to practise acquires knowledge and skills.
