Studio I - Game Media - summer

The course focuses on developing an authorial attitude towards game design, including an approach to the graphic, sound and thematic aspects of game design. Based on the experience gained so far, emphasis is placed on strengthening the ability to design and realize games beyond conventional approaches, in any segment of game development. Students process physical or other image sources, for subsequent digitization and digital post-production. In doing so, they learn to work with visual and design stylization that can be applied in digital and physical audiovisual spaces.

At an advanced level, students can digitize physical materials and other image sources. Students are led to realize individual or collective exercises and tasks. They continuously improve their technical and theoretical knowledge in the field. They are actively discussing and presenting their work results in the atelier field. In complementary activities, he participates in thematic exhibitions, excursions, festivals and lectures.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

To award the credit, it is necessary to submit partial studio assignments and collective or individual semester work. Subsequently, before the committee, he / she defends the results of the semester examination.
