Design of Structural Elements
FA-DSPAcad. year: 2021/2022
The objective of teaching this subject is to develop the creativity and invention of the students in the master degree study of FA BUT. The students work out the design of a structural detail (element). The teaching takes up to the artistic disciplines of the bachelor degree study, primarily to architectural design. The assignment is individual and is linked with the preceding studio designs. The design has to meet the requirements for function, production and technology used. An integral part of the required documents is the historical analysis and the graphic part expressing the central idea, the drawings in the respective scale, the colour design, the photograph of the model, and spatial visualisation. The graphic presentation is documented on a CD and in a drawing of AO format.
